I'm building a fuzz/boost combined unit (basic clean boost combined with a TB MKII Pro) and was just wondering what most people prefered (I'm not just making these for myself) fuzz into boost or boost into fuzz? I quite like the feedback you can get by running the boost infront of the fuzz but I know some people don't like things too extreme! I'm just really looking for a few opinions.

Well, i like boost/Overdrive --> fuzz ... it can really "kick" a fuzz into
mayhem !!

I agree Marty, but I am one for sonic mayhem! I was thinking of maybe wiring a switch so that you can swap between the positioning. Anyways first I have to find a method of wiring a TB MKII (Pos ground) into the same enclosure as a neg ground boost while still only using one power supply.

Hmm, that is going to give you a BIG problem .... It won't work !!
Fuzz Central seem to offer an "NPN" version, so you can wire it as
normal "negative ground" why don't you just do that  ?  :-)
Or just use NPN trannies and reverse the caps/ +9 v and ground . done !

Why not just build a PNP Pos Gnd Booster ?

I think I've got it working, using a strange series of groundings. I was going to use a max1044 charge pump but I was sure I'd managed to bodge it in a previous build. If I can work it out again I'll draw a diagram up.
