Just a quick question: Anyone know a way to boost the mid frequencies on a easyvibe ? - to make it more meatier ?! (i was just listening Joe Bonamassas live and was carried away..)......mmmm nice guitarist.....superb tones...

Eq,
Use a HP filter, and a LP filter. This will let only mids through.

Hello ! petemoore ! Man You are always the first to answer, THANKS!!

That would be in noob language wha?

Sorry, i'm STILL in noob state, but would like to boost the mids on my easyvibe. No simple one cap\resistor value change would do ?

Ok, ......still listening Joe's articulations and tones..(one might wonder what echo-delay pedal He uses)..

cheers,
mat

What Pete is saying is this :
Rather than "boosting" mids, you simply "cut" some lows and some highs
which is leaving you with more percieved "mids" and is the same thing as
a "boost" of mids.
Have a look in the FAQ and "simple mods&tips" at the top, you will see
how this can be simply done with a couple of capacitors :D

Hi,

Thanks Marty for the tip. I searched the FAQ but didn't find direct answer.

I know I can boost the lows with putting a larger cap on input and output. So in this case I will lower anothers value. Then I maybe should put a small treble bleeding cap somewhere ? I will just try to stick in in different places...

Thanks,
mat
