Difference in Stock Dallas RM and the one Gilmour used?

Hello Hello--
     I saw Blackmore using the tape deck [live gigs] from '70 onward.  This might have been from the last half of 1970 because he had  stopped using the 335 by then.   The studio could have been a different story........like I said he was using all sorts of stuff....so who knows?
Blackmore has a sharp sense of humor [and, he also spins  stories  like Billy Gibbons...] so I never took any printed interviews with him as completely factual.   [When he was trying to divorce his wife back then he got a bunch of his roadies to testify in court that she had affairs with all of them........pretty cruel AND funny at the same time.....]
Anyway, I'm sure that he used all kinds of different stuff at different times so it's no big deal.  I wouldn't be surprised if he used a booster AND the tape recorder sometimes.
