A little OT maybe.....regarding consignment sales of pedals

Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you had any experience with selling your pedals on consignment?  I imagine there's things to watch out for and things to get written on paper and pros and cons to the situation, but I don't really know much about it.

I was hoping I could maybe get a little rundown of what's to be expected on the part of the store and the pedal-maker....or maybe some personal experiences, positive or negative.

The store [used gear] around here said put your price on it and we'll add 20$, I put 60$ down on paper, and found it in the case at 120$, lol.
 It was a Boss Pedal, it never sold. I picked it up the day the deal ran out [they have a 30 day contingincy, they get to keep it for a month].
