I made it on veroboard and its HUGE !!
I ran out of space so it has a "daughter board" strapped on too  !

Its a "one off" I'm afraid  :cry:

While I wasn't a big fan of the Superfuzz samples, I really liked the enclosure! That's just a matter of my own personal preference. Your Mongoose sample was really fuzzy too, but I would guess it's not an up octave fuzz, so it seemed to work better for it. It seemed very annoying to my ears. The DOF is a great distortion IMO and about in the same level of huge, as the Jordan Bosstone, but the upper register of it, goes even passed the annoyance of the Superfuzz sample, and into the "cheese grater to the brain" level. It was so high pitched and piercing, that I had to wear ear plugs just to be in the same room with it! You didn't seem to care for it much if I remember right.

That reminds me of a gag I did on my wife for her birthday a few years ago. She was pregnant with our first child, and she wanted one of those glider rockers. I bought one for her, but I pretended that her gift was wrapped in this relatively small box that weighed about ten lbs. She seemed perplexed while unwrapping it, and then she saw the contents of the box - a small table top vise. Of course, she was like "what the heck?!", and then I said "Oh, you don't want it? I'm sure I can find a use for it"...  :lol: Then I gave her the real birthday present.  :wink:

Anyhow, I like these these stompbox tins. I personally shy away from it because I worry too much about them crushing and warping. Although, I suppose with a fairly heavy duty tin, you don't have to worry about it too much.

 The way a SUPERFUZZ Sounds though, a crushed heart might be the appropriate face for it.
