I vaguely remember aron posting about the Double Muff a couple months ago... I think there was a few pretty neat threads about it...

Let's seeeeeee...

Ah, here we go... schematic is a little further down:

Series two Muff Fuzzes and you've got it.  Note aron's correction to that schem.

Somewhere I posted a Sundail Schematic, my own little deal...
The topology is just two seriesed FF's. but I way tamed down the first one and tamed the second one. The amount of saturation is LOTS, think live JH when the thing is just morphing into harmonics and noise.
the cleanup at guitar volume is as good as any FF I have.
The volume control of the first one is there, a pregain [between the two FF's] also helps dial in tones ,,, I find it's useful because I have two bypass switches, for both, and just the first one also so I can play 'regular' FF with it.
The first one's gain is low, so it's really more of a boost.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

I made my own double muff...I made two transistor muffs, and added a put a series parallel switch, and volumes and tones for both muffs....turned out quite nice!

Cheers,
