Jawari IC equivalent ??

Hi there,

I would like to build myself the Jawari from GGG, but the IC in the circuit is only available at mouser.com and it would cost me 14$ of shipping for a single IC (I'm in Canada).  Is there a replacement for 42TN018 or 42TL218 that is available at Small Bear Electronics?

Umm... that's not an IC, it's an audio transformer. The 42TN018 or 42TL218 is a Mouser part number, and it's an 10K:10K audio transformer. I am 90% sure that Small Bear isn't going to have that item. Don't even think about RadioShack, you will be sorely disappointed.

If you are anywhere near Toronto, drop in to Supremetronics on Queen Street.  I bought my 42TN018 10k:10k transformers there for a dollar or something like that.
