Here are pics of my Parallel universe fuzz and Rebote2 delay which I named Infinity.

I built the parallel universe from Colin's schem at http://experimentalistsanonymous.com and the Infinity from the Rebote 2 delay layout at  http://www.tonepad.com

No problem whatsoever with these two builds and great sound.

Boy those look sharp!  I like the decal on the brushed metal look!

Nice job.

very nice!
how did you make the square holes for the switches?

Sweet looking boxes!!!

How'd you get the graphics to look so nice?

I made 6mm holes, glued the switches then applied a laminated laser printed sheet of paper with square cuts to cover them.

Designed with photoshop, printed with a laser printer then laminated.

Thanks everyone for your nice coments  :D

Hey, someone built one!  Super cool, I have never tried fitting it in a 1590B...  Tell me what you think of the circuit.

haha...i've built one of these too.  they're pretty cool to play with. quite a nice fuzz sound actually.  I won't embarass myself by showing you pictures, I hacked it into a little plastic shielded box smaller than that one, drilled some wrong holes and its held together with black insulation tape :)

Fitting it in a 1590B was quite a challenge as you can see on the picture.  :P

I like the circuit especially the synth tones you can generate with it, I tried it with a bass and waaaaaahoooooo it rocks.

2 drawbacks:
- I got to take pictures of the settings I like because just a small difference with one pot can and will  change the sound dramatically.

- Sometimes I spend hours setting it when I should play.

Thank you for this circuit man.  8)

Strange, that never happens to me...  Are you using the same value pots as in the schem?

Yes I am, it happens when osc and starve are both switched on. For example, I managed to get a octave down sound but I had to tweak the freq pot very carefuly not to lose the octave effect.

Ahh... see, I only use starve occasionally, but you are right, it is harder to guage sound differences with it on.  It's more touchy.

For a truly disgusting sound try sticking either a dirty boost or [If you feel truly teribble] a bazz fuss infront of the parallel universe.

I'v tried it with a "Bazz Fuss" (after), a "Punch in the face" (before) and a "Harmonic Percolator" (after) and the sound is just sick, especially with the Harmonic Percolator.

Very cool for grungy solos and weird background noise. Add a "lofomofo" and a "Sonic Anihilation" style pedal and you got the ultimate noisemaker.

Actually, putting a microamp or similar boost circuit in front of it is extremely useful, as you can use the level control like your guitar knob no matter where it all is in your signal chain, and it really helps control the gain.  Future Parallel Universes that I make are likely to  have input/output microamps.

What sort of switch did you use in the Inifinity? This is the first stompbox i'm building, and the schematics don't say what kind of switch to use.

I used a 3PDT switch, Iwouldn't recommend this pedal as a first build as you have to be very careful with the voltage divider, electro capacitors and ICs.

Ok!  :D

Have fun building this box, the endless repeat mod is easy to make and a real improvement, it is a very cool delay. Enjoy
