What are the A and B connections for ?

Looks like A could be used as a source follower [buffer]
You could put just about any C or R between a and b, large source bypass caps will let the amp amp more bass, large resisistors redundant, a wire would bring the source to ground.
 B is ground.
 That's all I got
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

You will get massive gain with that 10uf cap I think the intention was to have a switch here to bypass the cap....J201 will really give you gain some of the others are better suited for the cap like MPF 102..NTE 458 will sing too :D ....Also at one time I saw diodes in a duo as a bite kind of thing for fuzz...Maybe you could use that too...You can do nothing too.
practice cause time does not stop...

OK, thanks petemoore and Stevo. I think I'll put a switch in there.

Has anyone bought this board from AMZ?  I actually have an email out to him but haven't heard back yet. The pic of the finished board that he has on his site doesn't seem to match this schematic at all. Is there maybe an older schematic? I do have the CD they sell as well if there is something on there that might give me a clue. -ph
