I posted a similar question but it got overlooked in the grand scheme of all the questions I had in the one post. I have 2 switchible brances in my circuit, both with a different set of clipping diodes. Whats a better way of isolating each branch from the other besides the 10K resistors? My frist thought is diode, but if the signal is already clipping, I dont need extra diodes coloring the signal if they'll be clipping it also. Any thoughts?

Rearrange your switching.

Permanently connect the clipping diodes and the rest of the circuit. Select which set of clipping diodes gets *grounded* with your SPDT switch. The other pair is open, and cannot affect the circuit.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Never thought of that, although its one of those things its so simple it never gets thought of first. Thanks

Did what you said, the switching works great. Now as the note decays, theres this weird clamping of the signal. perhaps a .1uf cap on the diode ground after the switch?
