I am pretty new to building pedals.  I have built a few from pre-printed circuit board and such.  I really enjoy it.
This being said, my dad has always gone on about having a Vox repeat percussion unit and Vox distortion booster built into a pedal (he owned a Vox Starstream V269 back in the 70's sometime --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWC1uzg-Yr0 ).  I thought this would be a really cool idea for him as a gift for his birthday.  The trouble is my skills with circuit diagrams are somewhat lacking to know if A) this is even possible and B) what to cut out and how to connect them together.  I have the basics down but i'm just having trouble wrapping my head around this one.

This is the Vox Repeat Percussion (on the left) and distortion booster schematic i found.  I would obviously want to take out the slide switches (S1a and S1b).  These two units were originally mounted in a guitar...that's where my issue come in.

could anyone offer any suggestions on how to get these hooked up in one unit, operating with one battery or DC adapter...I'd greatly appreciate any help I could get!

I had a notion to do the very same thing ages ago but never got round to it, so there may be some answers in this thread with regards to wiring etc:

I got as far as making a three-in-one board and had the layouts done too but as it wasn't built it wasn't tested
The "Sonic Starstreamer" i planned to copy never went into production either but I have seen a photo of it, it was on the old new-atlantis studio page which is gone now.

do you want each effect separately footswitchable? (not familiar with the particular effects, but it would generally make the pedal more versitile)
is there a set order or would you like to be able to switch the order of effects?
true bypass? with led?
lemme know and i'll sketch it out for you... will be a lot easier to see it than read it

this is what i used on my ampeg scrambler + jfet boost... hope it helps

Yes...separately foot-switchable, true bypass with an LED for each is what i would like (the repeater unit first, the distortion booster second...unless you can think of a reason they shouldn't be put in that order).  If you could sketch it out that would help me tons!  Thanks.

I have built these two effects into the same enclosure before and I preferred the fuzz first and the Repeater second. Sound better to me that way.
