LPB-2 Boost Problem/Question

I've aquired an LPB-2 boost (not the new tube one).  The problem when I have it plugged in I get from about Zero to Unity range.  I'm thinking this can't be right.

Is that the booster that i sent you eh?  It was working perfectly when it left my house, dude.  

What amp are you using?  Where are you using it in your effects chain?

Make sure the battery switch is turned "on" .  

I would feel VERY bad if you got it it un-usable condition, man.  PM me- and we'll figure it out, dude....
