I've got a crybaby reissue that i have done all the standard mods to.  It has the MPS A18 transistors in it.  Has anyone swapped these out to see if they can increase the sweep on the mod?  If so what did you swap them out with.
Thanks

Changing out the transistors wont affect the sweep at all. Changing out transistors really has little effect. I tried from 2n5088 down to 2n3904. High gain vs low gain. It all seems the same really.

read geofex tecnology of the wah man.  tonality of the transistors is mostly the first transister the second one is basically a buffer. so use your vintage whatever in the first slot.  i like the metal npn's that are in the teese wahs personally.
