A thousand names for pedals have been popping into my head that I dont even have pedals to stick the names on.  Drippin Yello Madness... Gentle Weeper... Shiver... its so easy :D

Anyone else got any creative names?

(obscure reference alert) Maybe Mark Hammer should comment on your choices here

Have you cheked out the insanity box?
 OT:
The other one goes by the name of Grinder Box.
Twisted Metal on Dreambox had Shadow, Warthog, Slammer and more.
I named one 'Starvin' Mu'nster", cause it sounds like an oversized voracious character, and because I wanted to include "Mu' and "Starve" in the title.
I tried Dual Face, Double Face and Split Face, but some dude objected and said he wanted to have rights to anything like that, I guess he's got some seriesed FF's he's worked some tweeks on and is selling. He didn't seem to want to comment on what I was doing at the time   .

When I started naming boxes in spanish, I didn't know how many ridiculous fun names would come up...

I entered "big muff" in the translator... and among other things, it said "gran mango"... which for those who have visited the caribbean may have the desired fun effect... Every tropical fruit becomes a certain part of the female anatomy............

So, I named it gran mango... Big Muff... literaly :P

(dumb story, but you can't tell what'll happen if you enter such names in translators) (maybe translate them to chinese and then back to english will give you the next hit name)

Be careful.. with a name like this, someone will think your poor pedal needs bladder control or an antibiotic.,

Maybe a bass distortion or something called All Your Bass Are Belong To Us...?

Haha!  That one's hilarious!  How are you gentlemen?

pick names that if you build more than one type of pedal, they can all relate. The Dan Armstrong series usuales the color theme to tie everything in. I guess it doesnt really matter if you dont sell them

I Name mine the exact names given- Like a TS-808 to me is called = TS-808 ect...MXR Blur Box is to me= MXR Blue Box... Im not too afraid of "The Man" coming after me 8)  I just make these for myself anyway.

Aww, what fun is that? I don't think *fear of the man* is what motivates original naming. I think it's called creativity   ! Of course *Big Muff Pi* kind of set the standard for thinly veiled surreal references to human anatomy, carried on by names like *swollen pickle*, *Super Hard On*, etc. I am of this particular school myself, partial to names like *Smiling Melon* (green ringer, and a bit of a Frank Zappa reference), *Golden Clam Fuzz*, *Juicy Fruit Fuzz*, etc.
