Looks Like a Wah enclosure

Yesterday i found this at a flea market:







I've never had a wah before so I am not sure if i can use it.... I haven't tested the pot yet but i think the important thing is the pedal mechanism, can i build a wah with it??

Very cool!  You can use it for a wah for sure!!! I dont know what it really is, but I suspect it might be something like a pedal for an old sewing-machine or something

A quick google search turned up some limited info about an electric pottery wheel called the Spinning Tiger. I'll bet it's a speed control for that. Would probably explain the white clay-like reidue that appears to be on the top of the pedal.
