Anyone know where to get the WM60AY mic capsules on EU area ?

Isn't that the panasonic capsule that was used for the TapeOp mic... the one that's been discontinued?

I've built a few of those and had great results with the WM-61A capsule. Sorry, I can't help you with a source in the EU, tho. I got mine from Digi-Key.

Have you tried Radioduo or A-COM? I think some years ago you could order few different Panasonic capsules trough Monacor dealers (those days they had one cardioid and one omni capsule, that were used on some nice simple diy stereo mic on some local magazine. Thomann (Germany) lists some electret capsules as replacement part for their line of cheepo mics but dunno what these are

I just did a Google search and found some here: http://www.donberg.ie/descript/w/wm60ay.htm
They're really expensive though.

Here's another great place for mic's: http://jlielectronics.com/transsound/
It's worth noting that the dynamic's links don't work.  He's not actually set up to sell them for some reason.

Finally, a really good mailing list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/micbuilders/
