I'm going to start building mine next weekend, I think. Does anyone have any tips as to what to do/what not to do?

I don't really know what to tell you to do/not do, other than good layout, but please post any problems you run into. Mine worked first time, although it was on the bench not inside a foot pedal.

Keep the inductor as far away from the power transformers as possible to prevent hum pickup.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Yep, that's one I know about for sure. I was thinking about using a pair of externally mounted transformers on a Hammond 1590BB enclosure, with the rest of the circuitry inside and using one of my DIY wah pedals as an expression pedal. Do think it would cause problems with the inductor in close proximity to the transformers even though it is inside the enclosure? I can't see it being a problem, but I guess I won't know until I try. I still am not sure how to do the bypass part, though. Something I have to work on some more...  :icon_confused:
