A while back I aquired a pretty beat up TS-10, the box had been repainted (badly) and the volume knob works but rotates a full 360 without a stop. Im thinking of moving the circuit to a nicer box and replacing all the pots in the process.

I have 2 questions:
I want to trade out the tactile switch with a stomp switch. What should I buy? SPST? SPDT? DPDT? and how should it be wired? I do want to keep the buffer stages, I just want a sturdier switch (I'll leave the true bypass for clones)

Whats the voltage on the indicator LED? 1.8v - 2.1v? I wanted to replace that since it has paint on it, and I prefer green LEDs (a quirk of mine)

Thanks

If you want to keep the circuit exactly as it is, not installing true bypass, then get a momentary SPST (or SPDT) stompswitch, to replace the original tactile swich.

The wiring is extremely simple. An SPST switch has only 2 lugs, so just connect the two wires going to the tactile switch to the stompswitch instead. It doen't matter which wire goest to which lug.

Any regular (not superbright, extra large, etc) LED should be OK to replace the original. If it turns out to be too dim or too bright, you can decrease or increase the resistor in series with the LED.
