DC jack installation for idiots (like me)

I'm looking to install a dc jack on a big muff so I can power it with a daisy chain, the way I power all my boss pedals.

I tried the search function but didn't find an explanation that really did it for me.

So I'm asking if someone has a simple schematic for installing DC jacks or if it can be done with the battery wires or what.

Well, I used the battery wires on my Green Russian Big Muff, and that worked fine, but then the battery option is out for the future...

Find a schem of your model, find the +9V input and  ground trace on the board and add your dc jack there...

Yup, those articles were a great help to me. I have them printed out and stored in a nearby folder with other essential pedal building info.
