What's the use for the thin metal sheet that seems to come with all breadboards (at least the two I have) ??

I think I should know this  , but I cant figure it out, and instructions are in chinese!

I have two and they didn't come with any metal sheet. Do you have a picture of it?

Its just a thin rectangular metal sheet the size of the breadboard. I think it may be a replacement part for when the contacts in the thing get too used?

that must be it!

Of course, I should connect it to circuit ground to make it work, right?

Thanks
