I've finalized the construction of a fuzz face. The thing is an hybrid between germanium (the first transistor) and silicon (the second one) with trimpots to adjust the circuit to the transistors. Th germanium one is an 2N1306 manufactured by Central Semiconductor and the second one the common 2N3904. For my surprise the thing is working as an octave generator but in the way a Fuzz Face distorts (with the octave present where the amplitude of the wave is larger and fading out as the note decays)
Could anyone explain me why is this happening. Only for knowing what it is. The effect is pretty weird and I'm very happy with it.

Thanks
