Question about wall warts

I bought a memory man online and the adapter is broken.  It is 24V/ 100mA.   I have an adapter from a printer I was wondering if I could use -
Output: DC 24V/1.0A


The thing is that I really don't know what the "mA" and "A" stuff really means...

The A thing is how much juice it puts out. Since the old wall wart was rated at 100mA and yours is 1A then you will have enough juice. Take your DMM and check to make sure its regulated 24v and to make sure the + and - are in the right locations for your pedal.
