Anyone else still waiting? update!

Am I the only one else still wait for my free parts from Analogmike? I have these hawk-like creatures with piercing long range theft sensors that ride their bikes throughout the neighborhood looking for left ups, fedex, and usps boxes on peoples front steps to snag. They almost got my last order. It was only after they made it to the door that my wife happen to cioincidently open it at the same time (thus SAVING my prescious new DOD YGM) and almost catching them in the act. His excuse, :Uh? Oh, I guess this is the wrong house." And the wifes reply, " How do you know its the wrong house? You never asked who lived here.  :)

Anyways, maybe it hasnt had enough time to get here. Afterall, Its free. It just sucks when you never know.
Either way- the intention was/is very cool!! How often does someone do something as cool as give away free parts ect...?

My package from Mike came today.  Lots of Tube Screamer mod throwaways and TONS of electrolytics.  The best though was the secret mojo component:  a giant Mike Piera solder-glob!!!  :)

Got my package a few days ago and I'm thankful as well!! Gonna use one of those SK30A's in an upcoming Slow Gear build for sure and now have enought 100uf, 10uf and 1uf electro caps to last a LONG time.
      Just one question: Did anybody else get a bunch those metallic looking caps with clear green and yellow plastic over them? What are they? Well, I guess that's 2 questions, actually.

Its been two weeks with priority mail they are still free but I am looking forward to the whole idea that its FREE cant wait....Maybe he is busy with his business I dont think he would be out of 50lbs of parts by now...I sent mine that day with priority mail that is why I am waiting with abandon Thanks to Mike though......early xmas present yeah!!!!

I do believe that those are film caps. I got a whole bunch of 'em with my package. Much better than ceramic and Cool Lookin' too! :D

Man I live close to Conn. and it has been two weeks and I sent it priority mail ....How has others sent it and what did they use .. I sent one of those soft mail envelopes like he said... Man I am inpatient its FREE!!!... :cry:

I'm glad someone posted who was offering the free parts again, because I thought it was Paul Perry, and I sure wasn't sending to Australia for them. That was nice of Mike to offer, because he could just as well have thrown them away as he was modding. Now he's offering them just for his time!  :shock:  That's just another thing of many that makes this forum great! :)

I think it also works as great PR. I know the next time I have some$$ for commercial effects for my collection I look forward to throwing it his way. Not just because i scored some free parts but because the effects are known as high quality, and the customer service is OBVIOUSLY there..One thing other than quality thats important to me is customer service.

I just looked through my analogman package and found an ac127 and another germ tranny!! I cant wait to build!! The boards are beautiful!! Although I cant afford to buy a Sunface- I now get to build one!! Even better!!
