Check the local skips/dumpsters/bins etc for old computer cases - all the motherboard connectors are like this and can be re-used

Yup. I've got a drawer in a desk I want to get rid of that has a bunch of these inside. I think I threw away a few of them earlier tonight when I was cleaning.

Exactly the same happens with me.  I got yelled at last night because my step dad couldnt find the XP CD. Well of course I had it, nobody else ever uses it.

Sounds familiar -- I got yelled at by my stepfather because he couldn't find his XP CD, which he was looking for so I could come over and help him resinstall his entire machine.  And I'm 34 -- I haven't been yelled at by a parental figure in years.

Nah, the way to handle is to make it known you're a tech support specialist who charges $50/hour.  When they find out you do it for $$, they won't call.  Or even if they do, you'll have a chip to use.  This won't work if you're in the same house of course.

The only things you find in skips round my way is rubble and bugger all else.  Most people take stuff like that down to the local dump for recycling.

I HATE THAT!!!!!!!! I bring my acoustic with me everywhere. If i feel like playing I will play. Dont whine to me to get me to play cuz it aint workin!
