Guys,
I've just discovered this pedal building hobby recently and joined to this forum. The last time I build some electronic stuff was when I was in high school, so I need to re-learn almost everything. I have some questions which I'm sure that it will be very easy for some of you to answer :

I want to built a "juggler" to change fx order using relais as posted on RG's site. How can I use a 6V relay with 9V supply ? I know that I have to put a resistor in series with the relay to create a voltage divider, but how can I calculate the resistor value ? Can I measure the relay's resistance like measuring an ordinary resistor ?

Is it good enough to use 1/4 Watt resistor to build fx ?

Do any of you know where I can buy laser printer decal sheets in Europe ?

Thanks in advance & sorry if I make you boring with those questions...

Everytime I need to do something like this, I end up using a voltage regulator. Something like the LM317 series. They work well and are very easy to wire up.

Small Bear electronics is a great place to get a lot of parts and supplies for us DIYers.

Good Luck!

Welcome to the forum

I buy most of my stuff at musikding.de in Germany. They have decals.

You gan also check bazaieffects.com also in Germany. If you search the forum you should be able to find some places in the UK.

But one thing: Buy your stompswtches at Aron's. great prices and utra-fast delivery, and as a bonus, just recieving a letter from Hawaii on a could northern european autumn day, brings a little sunshine to you 8)

"Rick, your work is almost disgusting, it's so beautiful.  Meaning: it's so darned pretty that when I look at my own stuff, it makes me want to puke my guts out."

Thanks Aron, but how can I wire the regulator to the relay's coil and to the power supply (pls remember that I'm a rookie on these stuffs)?

Thanks for the link cab, very useful for me, before I think the only place I can get the decals is from smallbear.
I've bought some stuffs at Banzai, I've found that they're really nice guys, cheap & prompt delivery and their price are lower than musicding. They even give some discounts if you buy more than 1 or 2 items. And they effects are just sooo beautiful.
