Boss dd-20 giga delay

So, I was in the market for a fancy delay unit, I read many many reviews and I decided to buy a Boss DD20.

A couple of days ago it arrived!

It's one of those double pedals, I like it how boss was able to implement the functionality to those two pedals. There is a footswitch jack that can be assigned to any function.

A big backlit LCD display shows a lot of the info you need, it displays delay time in mS, or it shows the song's BPM.

Tap tempo is nice, of course, and it also has 4 user defined patches, plus a 'manual' patch that uses whatever you have on the panel controls.

23 seconds of delay make it a VERY nice loop station. Getting to punch the sample to loop seamlessly wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. In a few minutes I was playing a solo to a harmony. Overdubbing is also possible as many times as you want.

It's stereo, I haven't tried it hooked up in a stereo setup yet.

My other option was the delay modeler from Line6 (DL4), which seems to be popular around here, the 4 stompswitches were appealing, but it really lacked many of the features of the dd20.

There, a quick review of a satisfied customer. And I must say, that is the only pedal that I didn't make that sits on my pedalboard

CONGRATS! I plan to buy that one some time. Im thinking about getting the Boss Loop station that looks similar with the 2 foot pedals. Im also thinking about the Boomerang for loops. As far as delays go-i think you went with the right choice- Thats what I would have got as well.

I'm still eyeing that one. I need my PDS 8000 for it's quirky *performance features* but I would also like a second loop unit. I was also considering the new Digitech JamMan, as well as the DL4. The main attraction of the DL4 as a looper for me is the reverse function.
