That's the only one I found... Has anyone verified it? What could the clipping diodes be? How about the transistors and the pots? A couple of cap values also makes me wonder... like the prefix of the 100 and the 22?

Looks kinda "Rattish" to me but still so much different... At least I'm going to try Rat's pot values and clipping diodes. This could be my next build, so please encourage me :)

I tried to search but found nothing so any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the link anyway!

Since I'm the one who left the questions unanswered, I'll follow up here.

1) Volume pots are always log for most pleasing control.

2) A 1N4001 is perfectly fine for the power section.

3) I can't guarantee it in writing, but you see 10k in the same location everywhere else, and 70k is not a standard value.

4) It is probably 10nf, simply because of the frequency range produced by 10nf caps vs 100nf in this instance.  If the caps were supposed to be 100nf, the notch/scoop would be around 40hz, which is obviously too low for guitar.  With 10nf, the scoop moves up to the 400hz zone, which is far more appropriate.

5) Again, I can't guarantee it is 390R but 390R makes far more sense than 39R, given the feedback resistor involved.

Would it have the same problem as I had with the Mongoose?
(connecting the 2.2M resistor to collector of Q1)

It looks a lot like a Mongoose
