Hey guys,

I was wondering if it would be possible to replace the vox tonebender's GE trannys with silicon trannys?  You know, like the fuzz face.  It seems that it would throw off the bias.

And if it does; would anyone be interested in helping me re-Bias it eh?

EDIT:  The reason i'm wanting to build this:  i have TONS of Silicon PNP's that aren't getting used.  And i'm running out of NPN's .

Sure, you can use silicons. Maybe the bias has to be adjusted, but shouldn't be too hard to do.
I never built a Tonebender anyway.

You can also build Aron's "The Rocket". It sounds very great, it uses silicon and I think is not that different from the Tonebender (I may be wrong). But, you wanted PNP... no big deal, just switch the polarized caps, diodes and the power supply.

I'm sure people here will help ;)

Luck!
