Skyripper Fuzz Skillet housing update w/ pics

After building Joe gagans legendary Skyripper fuzz, I put it in an aluminum sklillet as he suggested. After searching around the internet and pm'ing LP Hovercraft from this forum about his skyripper/skillet, I'm close to having it done. The back plate is 1/8" aluminum diamond plate that a friend cut for me with a plasma cutter (good friend, right?). I then went to Lowes hardware store, bought a couple 3/8" "coupling nuts" and now I have a pretty cool looking box that sounds and looks unusual. I only used two of the coupling nuts with intentions of using three in a triangle configuration but just two hold the back plate on very secure. All that's left are the rubber feet and then I'll move on the Joe's "Freeper" pedal .

Wow!  That looks great!!!  You really scored with that back plate-Thats the thing that's the big pain there.  Check this out:  http://www.x-libri.ru/elib/arefj000/arefj176.jpg  Remind you of anything?  My band is in the process of recording our 2nd album-there's already buckets of gratuitous Skyripping all over it.  If you ever play out with it, your pedalboard will be showered with attention from gearhead music fans not from just the cool space age look of it, but also from the great tone it produces.

Have you got Joe's "freeper" schematic? - I always get great results from Joe's pedal designs.

Sorry man, that picture is not a Skyripper.  It's a Canadian-made Avro hover car from the 60's.  I just thought that the aluminum look of your Skyripper evoked that kind of look.  Here's another cool avro car in action pic:  http://www.artemodus.de/cars/UFO4.JPG  I wish my stompboxes looked like that!  And did that too!!
