Hi guys,
I've been lurking for a while and am a total novice.
I recently joined a country rock band and need a volume pedal for those faux-steel sounds.
I have three crybabies and rather than buying a volume pedal i want to convert one to a volume.
Is this easy to do?

Do I need to change the value of the potentiometer?

Ideally i would like the volume to be at zero on heel down and full up on toe down.
also, i don't need to be able to switch the pedal on or off.

Thanks!

Milt.

The easiest way is to remove all of the circuit from the wah but leave the pot and the switch (if you need it) and wire the pot as a DeArmond volume pedal as here.

Am learning something new every day here

Also, you could ADD a dpdt switch to toggle between wah and volume. Do a search for Jen wah pedal, or check out the related circuit at www.tonepad.com (wah project page)
