Just built an OD1 clone, and it works !!!!

Built following Kojjum's vero layout.

Obviously it didn't wirk at the first attempt. Then I found out that I forgot to solder the 470K resistor.

Great sounding overdrive. To my ears it doesn't need any mod, I like the slight bass-cut and the presence it adds to the guitar sound.

The only drawback, it won't fit in a MXR-dist+type enclosure .

It will replace the Barber Direct Drive SS in my pedalboard

I chose Kojjum's layout basically because it takes less room, but no other particular reason. I'm dead sure your layout works equally well
