I used this schematics: http://www.muzique.com/schem/wah-patent.pdf. I replaced the original transistors by KC509s that I found in a drawer and made very little changes of the resistor values, cause I couldn't find the exact values. Now it works like a "signal weakener", but not as a wah-wah. Turning of the wah pot does not take any effect. I don't know if the schematic is correct. If someone would be so nice to try if it works, I would be very glad. Thanks a lot

are you sure you wired up the wah pot correctly? the symptoms you are describing, happened to me once, when i replaced a pot in my wah.  :icon_wink:

I have been serching for the bug for about 3 hours and then I ripped everything out from the experimental printed board  :icon_frown: . I am going to try again when I get calm again  ;D Tomorrow I will buy the exact transistors and resistors and I will solder everything properly. If it won't work again, I don't know what to do..

Can somebody help me? With which transistors can I replace 2N3900A and 2N2924 if I won't manage to get these?

Sorry, i can't help ya there, but my next project is a wah, and many people have liked/advised me to try BC109's and BC108's.  did you read about wah here,

Will it work with a 700 mH coil? I managed to get this from a fluorescent tube starter circuit.

i think it  should work fine, but might not sound as fat/sweet/vocal. It seems that people usually want an inductor near 500mH -520mH, I forget the resistance, smallbear and aron sell inductors, so does banzai and ariel fx .

supposedly the yellow fasels sound vintage, and the red fasels sound more modern version fasel, then there is a Halo inductor that was used by Jimi Hendrix,  I have a Halo inductor made by ariel FX, didn't try it yet though,

I don't like the red fasel dunlop inductors, but people seem to like them, i heard the yellow fasel is great.
