Hey Guys,

I have a compatible 5 way foot controller (GP12) for my Trace Elliot Speed Twin head, but two of the lights are reserved. Ie. when you have channel 1 on, the 1st light is on, when you chose channel 2 then the 1st light is off. I would prefer this to be the other way round.

Does anyone know if it is a simple case of just switching the wires on the LED inside the board?

If anyone is interesting in looking at the schematic, you can get it from here. http://www.britishaudioservice.com/trace_schem.html click on GP12 5 way footswitch

My schematic reading skills arent great but if someoe could direct me that would be great.

Can't help you with your question. Just wanted to say: What a terrific amp that is!!! I own a H100 head myself, and omg how I love it. Don't have footswitch for it thogh....maybe I should build one..

Raf, it's more a physical problem than an electronic problem. I don't know how the LEDs are mounted.. if they have leads going to them, then just swap them over. If they are mounted on a main PCB with everything else, you have to cut the trace on the board to isolate one side of each led, then run wires so the signals go to the opposite leds.
Or approach from the other end & swap the switch connctions!!

DISCLAIMER: never seen inside one of these, probably never will.

Paul. Thanks for the advice. I thought it could be a case of just swopping leads, but wasnt entirely sure.
I will ahve a look inside the foot controller this week and let you know what I find.
Hopefully the LEDs are just connected via leads.  ;D

Thanks again
