Hi,

i just began and finished a workable tyco cicuit yesterday....
Its build on Perfboard with the GGG Schematik, including the
little mod. to switch the lower sided Diode in the Schematic off
for FuzzTone Only.

I measured all the Values of the Transistors = compared to the
values listed in the Document on GGG, my measured values are nearly
the same    (im very happy about that the Tyco is working right)

but my question - does anybody know, if it makes a difference if i
build another schematic style like that one from Fuzzcentral?

what is the tone change, if I put a 100uF capacitor instead of the 25uF like the GGG schematic?

Isn't the 100uf cap you're talking about( on the Fuzz central schem) just a power supply filtering cap??
If so , then I couldn't say that there'd be any audible change made to the crkt. Just a wider /narrower filtering.( ? ?) Or maybe I'm very wrong.
HOWEVER I do wish someone would post their voltages for all the trannies  from their Octavia built from the Fuzz central layout!! PNP.  Because I've built it like 3 times  and I just don't seem to get what I would think I should out of the crkt. Yeah it octaves, works better with N PUP /tone rolled off and everything that is normal in the other Oct/fuzz 's that I've built but this one just seems extremely FIZZzY sounding , and actually sounds a bit 'misbiasy' too. And I've built it again, put a trimpot on the MPSA18 collector  and nothing changes!  So vltgs based on THIS layout would be great , I know the GGG has some but I 'd like to see YOURS!   
Oh and for the trimpot on a collector, Is Q1 maybe not the best of the three to put one on ?? maybe Q2 or Q3 is better to bias the crkt a little bit??
