??? I just finished my SF2, and I like the more "restrained" fuzz it gives, But I find that while turning down the output pot can give an even better fuzz, it really really really cuts the volume too. So I wind up with my amp set much higher on the volume knob than usual.  Is this normal? I've biased Q2 to 4.5 as spec'ed and all other voltages are in the range too.  Putting my orange squeezer ahead of the SF2 in the chain really wakes the SF2 up,  I did notice.

Reviving the topic (that might be someone question).

In my Sili-Face II (runoffgroove layout on perfboard), the volume pot also changes the fuzz sound, and so do the guitar volume knob. I usualy play with tboth maxed, and i put the volume on the stompbox on 1/3 when i need to play an music that has both clean and fuzzy guitar (becouse I used two 2N2222 transistors that gives so much gain)
