Should i have wired the bypass this way  ?

boost works great but theres a fair bit of noise even when i turn the boost off via the foot switch still some fairly bad hum etc . The switch is exact as in the how to , so im guessing im doing something wrong re how im connecting it up to the layout ? or maybe i should do the switch a different way  ?

Can anyone chim in with some ideas i can try , ive been at it for 4 hours and still nothing .

Thanx

Well the switch could be 1/4 turn away from matching the schematic wiring.
...the 'tic tac toe' square needs to be oriented or the switching you think goes up/down actually goes left/right. 50/50 odds unless you test it, or get to know that looking through the eyelets the switching goes up/down.
Test with DMM beeper test to see where the signal goes through the switch from the input jack. It should go to the circuit board input wire, not bypass wire [switch once] then the bypass wire, not board input wire.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
