I want to add a buffer to my pedal like a tubescreamer but not with a transistor but with an opamp what would be the best design for this purpose  ? I looked at the AMZ superbuffer but that would be ideal for the output

any non-inverting unity gain op amp buffer circuit - set the input impedance with a resistor!

Datasheets usually have examples of such, but aside from that it's a fairly common circuit, so have a search around. There's nothing particularly special about them.
