SPDT Stomp for 2 gain switches in the TS

Would this work?

SPDT Stomp Pole from 51k resistor two throws to two 500k Gain Pots lug 1.  Lugs 2 and 3 from both pots to r8.

Sorry for the double post,  but I am not sure what having on side of either of the gain pots (going nowhere ) would do.

I'm very new to this and still learning.

But, theoretically I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Personally, I would use a 3PDT switch to switch between both wires to the pots. Using the third pole for a bi-colour LED to show which pot is in circuit.

But, I could be totally wrong

It will work but you'll probably get pops and other noises when you switch between the 2 pots.
