Hello there;

I'm wondering if I could upgrade the Opamps in my Boomerang to hopefully increase the sound quality of it.

Here are the factory Opamps

OP275
OPA2134PA
TLV2462CP

Are there better ones to replace these, or does anyone know of other ways that I can upgrade the signal of this unit.  Recap might help.
WOuld changing out the carbon resistors for Metal Film resistors.

I know it would be a lot of work.. But I've got the time.

no one ever

Boomerang as in Maestro Boomerang wah? The OP275 is manufactured by Analog Devices, not sure about the others. All of those opamps appear to be good opamps. Unless the caps are really, really bad (or ceramic) you probably won't hear much of an improvement by changing them out. Same goes for the resistors. At such low voltages, you just aren't going to hear a difference between carbon film and metal film resistors. Basically, if you're not happy with it, it's probably because of the design itself.
