what to do with the other half?

i'm making a layout to build the choppy 2 channel trem discussed in this topic: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=38696.0

Both channels will have a single opamp buffer so i'm using a TL072 for these. i still have one half of the dual opamp from the multivibrator.

is there some kind of whacky efect i can make with this? an active tone control? What happens if i would put the 2 opamps in parallel?

Built in distortion circuit with a switch to switch it in and out. You can build simple distortion circuits with one half of an opamp.
