Fun with OTA's:

Pretty cool sounding effect.  Makes me think you could do a lot with it.  Is there some ring mod in there or is that just filtering?

tr.v. trans·mog·ri·fied, trans·mog·ri·fy·ing, trans·mog·ri·fies To change into a different shape or form, especially one that is fantastic or bizarre.

That sounds great!  I especially like the "yai yai" sounds near the end. Can you tell us more about this curcuit?

Marcos - Munky

Cool!!! Wat about more info about the circuit, and a schematic?

Mark Hammer

Nice.  What sort of filter/s?

Vsat

An old project.... a speech synthesizer consisting of 3 voltage-controlled state variable filters with a microcontroller that stores sound parameters and sends fc and Q control voltages to the individual filters, so it can speak (built-in vocabulary of several words and sentences) when you push the pedal down. Microcontroller board not finished yet so just having fun with LFO and knob tweaking  :D
Used LM13600 in the filters.

Do you have a schematic/photo of the actual unit?

This sounds similar in concept to R.G.'s Sing Wah article.

Very cool, Vsat!

SDIYer Jim Patchell did some circuits for formant filters inspired from some old Bell Labs junk he bought second hand. His circuits tend to be very complex, and suited for standard modular synthesizer rigs. But the ideas are applicable to simpler BP filter applications.

The latter page has some amusing examples of the formant filters mated with a sequencer.
