Hi!

Anyone seen higher wattage tube amps on 12V by using a pair of power tubes? AB class pushpull etc... I was thinking of driving a 2 x 8" combo with something like that.
Or is there someone who thinks driving each speaker with a single ended tube (double power switchable) is more useful?

I would look here for ideas:

Since these things draw so much current you're really better off going with HV tubes if you want volume. If it's low voltage/low volume  PP/PI tone then maybe dry cell tubes would be a better bet.

The regular/SE Sopht amps should push 2x8 no problem? ...it won't be loud ;D.
