I've just build ROG MayQueen using Torchy's vero layout. It hiss and hum lot. Perhaps the hum can be removed once I put it on the enclosure, but what is the source of the hiss ? I've checked the connections, all seems OK. The only change I made was the first resistor, 47K, I dont have it so I made it from 2 resistor in parallel + 1 ini series, result = 47.8 k. Could it be the source of the problem ?
Following are the voltage measurement :
power supply / battery : 8.86 (on ROG site 9.31)
2n5088 collector : 6.70v (on ROG site : 7v)
2n3904 collector : 2.003v
J201 : 5.53
All resistor are metal film, so do the caps, except the first 470pF caps.

Someone help me please....

Make sure you have the correct version of the layout - this one I got from the Musikding archive and is different to the one on Wampcat's page ?

Yes, mine is different (got it from Wampcat's site). Maybe I should try this one, but have you use this layout anyway ? Thanks a lot.
