I know that you "get what you pay for".... but sometimes folks on a budget might want to know......

I have a much better meter but I bought one of these to carry in the gig bag tool collection.

It doesn't say it.....but if you look close on the lower front that is a PNP / NPN test socket.  I have not compared it
with my primary meter but it at least checks them......

For $9.99 it was tough to pass up.  I got mine in the store near home....but I guess you can order them online.

I bought another off of ebay that has a pnp and npn socket but I gave $12+ shipping   I guess I should have looked more.  I have bought a few to try out and to have extras but for that price it hard not to pass up!

This is the one I picked up a couple of years ago. Not as cheap as above but works hella good and is quite durable. Comes in a rubberized  casing and has been banged around quite a bit and still keeps ticking...
