schematic for adding an expression pedal to the phase 45?

Hello all

So, I'm finally building my univibed-mallet-torchy-phase 45. I would like to build it with an add-on: an optional expression pedal to control the speed. My intention is to get a Rogue volume pedal and use it for this (changing the pot if necessary).

So I would like to build it with an extra input jacket; if nothing is attached to the input jacket, the speed pot is used; if the exp. pedal is connected to the jack, the external pot is used instead.

What is the simplest way to wire this? Is there any schematic for anything like that online?

thanks a lot...

All you need is a mono normally closed jack. take the wires that would normally go to lug 1 and 2 of the pot from  the pcb and solder them to the side of the normally closed mono jack that is always connected. Then solder lugs 1 +2 ofthe pot to the corresponding lugs on the other side of the jack which get disconnected when you insert the jack. Remembertosolder a jumper between lugs 2 +3 of the pot.

Set up the pot inside the volume pedal same as speed pot. ie as a variable resistor.

Not a "schematic" but hope this is clear.
