Transmog,
Thanks for posting that clip - it is quite fascinating to hear. First impression though (like others have posted) is that  time-delayed audio might not be involved - my first guess would be that the effect could be produced by "variable rate sawtooth tremolo, with envelope controlled rate". The particular type of sawtooth could be "spaced downramp" giving that percussive marimba-like effect. ???

I made my LFO on a small piece of perfboard and used aligator clips to test it out with the delay. I just clipsed them across the delay time pot. It sounded pretty good. So I bet the idea could be even better with carefull choice of parts.

I didn't think I could it and everything else into a B box, so it's waiting in the wings as a new project.

Speaking of PT2399 delays, I had this other idea to build two of them into one projec with switches for series and parallel opperation. I also was thinking about a switch that would feed delay A into the feedback for delay B and feed delay B's signal back to the feedback on A, if that makes any sense.

FP: I remember you had posted something about updating the Rebote 2.5 sometime after you had posted it initially, did you make any changes?
