Hi, I recently went to radioshack to look for components, but the one nearest me didn't carry these components (1/4" input).  I was browsing Mouser.com, but I was wondering what exactly these components are called on there.  I searched 1/4" input but I got nothing.

Do a search for Switchcraft #12B and Switchcraft #11 on the Mouser site.
The first one is the stereo jack used as an input with battery on/off and the second one is commonly used as an output jack.

i prefer neutrik stuff, myself... damn cheap, and i can't see any difference in quality from switchcraft  :)

One other thing, where would Bread Boards and "PBC" *I think that's what they're called* boards be?  Under what category?

Nevermind, I think I found it.  It's under "prototyping"
