So, I had some "Tube Noob" issues ( ie: reversed the pins ) :icon_redface:
Working and sounding great now :D .... Thanks, aron /Ton/Paul etc for all the
assistance, whilst i broke my "Tube Cherry"  !!

I'm still going to re-make this for several reasons :
First, 'cos of all my "futzing" around it looks like Frankensteins baby !
I still have a fairly low output and a tone control that's no so great, so
I'm going to make that a BMP and use an output vol recovery for some more
volume.
It is above unity, but could use a lift.

Respect and thanks again,
Marty.

Could we now have the "dream-rig" recording with the new fixed Shaka, please?  :)

Jim, I'll do that, though there wasn't much "comment" on that idea of a recording channel !
Friday's my next free time, so it'll be then.

RE: Shaka mods
I just added the BMP tone stack and a volume recovery, which is  the "Rangemaster" but
full range, it has more headroom since it's running at about 14 volts and provides a full and clean
boost right after the tone stack, which is taken from the board where lug 3 of the tone control was.
Much more tone shaping available and plenty of volume now :D
3904 transistor used.
