I'm working on an OpAmp Muff Fuzz build from an original that i have.  The problem I have is that none of the values in my version seem to match schematics I find around the net.  I'm trying to verify component values before I attempt it.

The one I have has a TI MC1458P, and cap values of .00001uf, .1uf (3 of them), and a .047uf and  6 resistors.  All of these values are educated guesses based on part marking.  There is no 10uf as I see in other schematics.  Are my educated guesses in the realm of possibility?  Any help would be appreciated.

EH is infamous for changing part values. i am not a bit surprised to hear the opamp BMP has this too.

if it works, and sounds good, go ahead and build one. you could just test the parts if they really bother you...

I've taken a closer look and it appears pretty close to the schematic floting aroun the web except:
the 680K resistors are 1 meg in my example and the diode loop has a .00001uf cap and a 470k resistor around it (maybe to smooth the sound).  I think it sounds pretty good.  I always wonderd why people said the Muff Fuzz was a lower gain fuzz.  This one sounds pretty colse to a Big Muff.
