You can sometimes tell from high Resolution pics of both sides of the board what's going on in there.
I would guess if it sounds anything like the SD-1 there are probably similarities.
I've never done it, but pics have provided schematics of circtuits before, seems unruly to me, some folks can actually draw the schem from pics of the board and offboard parts.
I would think a Boss might be particularly hard to do considering the parts count, but the differences between that and the SD-1 could be small or great, if they're using the same board that would simplify identifying the differences.

The SD-2 is the Dual Overdrive. It's most likely pretty complex, or more so than the SD-1. It has two overdrive modes which are also switchable via a remote footswitch. I haven't seen a schematic of this one either. A very nice pedal though.
